How an engagement runs

Four steps from written brief to delivered car

Every engagement follows one route: a signed sourcing brief, a search across dealers, auctions and private sellers, an independent inspection, then customs clearance and delivery into Kyiv. Our fees are disclosed upfront, with no hidden costs.

03 / Process

Four Steps

Typical owner hours per stage, taken from recent mandates handled by the concierge desk.

Request a sourcing brief
  1. 01

    Brief

You set the marque, model year, mileage ceiling, provenance record and budget band. We return a written brief and a signed sourcing mandate before a single call is made to a seller.

    Owner time1 to 2 days

  2. 02

    Search

We tap a global network of franchise dealers, auction houses and private collectors, then shortlist three to five cars with documented service history and clean title.

    Owner time2 to 4 weeks

  3. 03

    Inspection

An independent specialist measures paint depth, reads fault codes, checks VIN against factory records and road-tests each shortlisted car. You receive the report before any deposit.

Owner time3 to 5 days per car

  4. 04

    Delivery

We handle export paperwork, EU-UA customs clearance, insured transport and registration support, ending with handover in Kyiv or collection at the EU collection point.

    Owner time10 to 21 days

Inspection Protocol

Independent. No dealer affiliation.

No vehicle reaches your shortlist on photographs alone. A third-party engineer inspects every candidate at the seller's premises, on a lift, with the engine cold, and signs off on 200 individual checkpoints.

Identity, VIN and documentation24

Inside the report

  • A photo set indexed to the VIN, covering undercarriage, sills and paint-depth readings at twelve panels.
  • The full OBD-II fault log with stored and pending codes, plus live sensor data captured during the road test.
  • Service history verified against the manufacturer record and the stamps in the book.
  • A verdict sheet: pass, pass with conditions, or reject, together with the repair estimate that shapes our counter-offer.

The verdict feeds directly into the fee structure. If a car fails, you pay nothing for the inspection and we resume the search.

04

Logistics and customs

Duties, transit time and paperwork by origin market

These are indicative landed ranges for a single vehicle arriving in Kyiv. The written quotation for your VIN replaces every figure once the export papers are confirmed.

Indicative landed ranges by origin market
Origin market Duty and excise Transit to Kyiv Documentation set
Germany, Netherlands, Belgium 10% duty, excise by engine size, 20% VAT 7 to 12 days CMR, T1 transit, export declaration, certificate of conformity
United Kingdom 10% duty plus 20% VAT on landed value 9 to 14 days CMR, T1 transit, export declaration, deregistration slip
Japan 10% duty, excise by engine size, 20% VAT 45 to 65 days Export certificate, bill of lading, de-registration sheet, auction sheet

United Arab Emirates 10% duty plus 20% VAT on landed value 21 to 35 days Export certificate, bill of lading, customs declaration

Duty and VAT are assessed in hryvnia at the National Bank of Ukraine rate on the invoice date. Vehicles older than eight years and engines above 3.0 litres fall into a higher excise band. The exact amount appears in your written quotation before you commit to anything.
